Why I lost my fansubber job

Ehem. Some of you guys already know that I used to be a fansubber ( yeah, i do the typo part ). Then, I got fired for unlogical reason. They said that “are you crazy or on cracks or something?”.

I assume that nearly all anime fan already watched “My Neighbor Totoro”. If you haven’t watch the anime, there’s no point to continue from here. You won’t understand if you haven’t watch that anime.

Scene 01: They just arrived at their new home.

Mei’s playing with a pillar that’s very flimsy

They went to back of the house and saw lotsa susuwatari runaway. They dun know what’s susuwatari yet.

They seriously freaked out

Their father came in while they’re trying to look for the “black black thingie”

Scene 2: A boy, their neighbor, came to pass them something. Welcoming stuff…

The boy teases Satsuki and runs away”

The boy’s grandma was there and she’s not happy with it

Scene 3: Bathing scene (note: this scene is censored in some releases)

Mei questions about the strong wind outside

Her dad told her that there’s nothing to be afraid of.

The wind went stronger and Satsuki joins in

Their dad suddenly laughs

Scene 4: Mei founds Totoro

Mei, wanna play around the house

Mei saw Chibi Totoro

Chibi Totoro tries to hide himself and went invisible

Mei tries to follow Chibi Totoro and Chu Totoro

Mei saw the big size Totoro

Curious, Mei climbed up Totoro

Mei plays around with Totoro’s nose

Mei lay down on Totoro. Must be comfy…

Satsuki finally found her lost sister.

Scene 5: While waiting for dad at the bus stop in the rain

Totoro came to the bus stop. Satsuki, who never met Totoro before curious want to know what is the furry being standing next her.

She saw Totoro soaking wet and offer him the extra umbrella.

Satsuki insists

Totoro accepts the umbrella and use it.

Totoro summons the Cat Bus. The Cat Bus arrives and stopped right in front of them.

Totoro rides the bus and leaves.

Scene 7: Satsuki lost her sister (Mei ran away). Desperate, she met Totoro for help…

Satsuki fell on Totoro from above

Satsuki says lots of stuff.

Totoro grabs Satsuki

Totoro smiles…

Scene 8: Seconds before the credit rolls. They wave goodbye to the bus.

They wave to the cat bus. The bus leaves and vanishes in mid air.

Until now, I still dunno why I got fired. *sigh*

NOTE: Seriously, obviously this is not the reason why I lost my job as a fansubber ( “I quit”, I didn’t get fired. Note that. ). And.. I dun have any issues with My Neighbor Totoro . It’s my #1 favourite anime till now. I used it here because last Wednesday I rewatch it without subtitles and I end up to create my own subtitles in my mind. Hehehehe. End
