Independence Day, rite ~

Currently listening ‘I’m not Okay’ by ‘My Chemical Romance’
Currently feel like killing motorcylists…

It’s already September 3rd. Maybe it’s a lil bit o late to post this, but who cares.

“Saya berasa amat bangga dan bersyukur kerana negara kita sudah bebas daripada pihak penjajah”
“Kita semua mesti berasa nasib baik kerana kita semua telah bebas daripada pihak penjajah”

Those quote were taken from some shots in the TV. Bullshit. For crying out loud they’re lying in TV. Well, if some random interviewer suddenly appear right in front of me, most probably I will say the same thing.

The sad truth is: there’s no way we can appreciate it. The one who can really appreciate it, are our gramps. Yeah, they’re the only one who really appreciate it. Japanese occupation period is scarier than the words coming out from my grandfather’s mouth about how scary it is.

No matter how we ‘bayangkan’ the freedomless period, it’s still not enough. They’re no way we can imagine it.

It’s like: Imagining yourself having sex. It’s totally different from really having sex.

Patriotism – You hate people who doesn’t wave flags. Dude, you’re waving flag doesn’t make you really patriotic enough. No, your flag covered car also not enough. But at least, that way can show that you love your country. But sometimes, putting to much is… well, you’re trying to catch people’s attention and constructing a gimmick. You love the country doesn’t mean you’re patriotic. Patriotism is more than love the country only.

“LOOK at my car ~ Muahahahaha ~ This is what I call super patriotism” – maybe that’s what they’re thinking. Patriotism my arse. One flag is enough. But, there are people who really really loves the country and showing it that way. AND there are people who really loves the country and didn’t even raise a flag – they afraid that smart people will think that they’re trying to catch people’s attention and creating a gimmick. *sigh* What a very complicated case.

You wanna know my definition of patriotic people? – Try to stand up straight everytime you hear ‘Negaraku’ without fail everytime whether you’re alone or not. Yeah, it’s a sad thing that I’m not patriotic enough. Everytime we hear ‘Negaraku’, we always say “Haiyo, stand up lar, respect skit ~” in a humour tone. Sad thing ey? What a shame. Well, dun be shame alone, almost all Malaysian did that. Whoa, a very sad thing. Even my grandfather who really appreciates Independence day dont. Some of the people who gone thru the war as a military soldier ‘might’ stand up straight. ‘Might’ ~

The 4th of July for Americans is only a ‘fireworks’ day now. I dun think their youngers care about their freedom anymore because now, they can take over any other country they want.

Eh? Wait a minute. Are we really really independent now? Freedom? Well, it’s hard to say. Racist fuckers still out there. I can sense there’s more than one within 50 metres radius. Racist Malays is trying to condemn other race because they think other races is trying to condemn them. Racist Chinese hates other race because they think other races is pathetic. Racist Indians (which is quite rare i see) hates other race because.. er.. trying to counter attack other races bashes, i think. Whatever lah. Racist bastards.. Well, you can label them as ‘retarded’ because they’re proud of their skin colour. Sheesh.

I can say that most of my chinese friends who is a Malaysian born child doesn’t feel like a Malaysian citizen.

Imagine, you’re planning to buy a house, then you saw “Khas untuk Bumiputera sahaja” (worse, some of them says “Khas untuk Orang Melayu sahaja”). Well, if I’m chinese, I would call a bunch of chinese, indian, punjabis and some other non-bumiputera friends to knock the sign down. Now, I bet lotsa of my Malay friends would be pissed at me because I questioned the ‘Bumiputera’ thingy. Kinda sensitive, you know. Now I sounded like I’m against Malays. Sheesh.

Maybe they’ll reply to me “Apa kau tahu Edo? Kau tak tau dunia realiti yang sebenarnya”. Dun pretend to know everything about this world you retarded racist arsehole.

Compared with other countries, I’m happy that our racism issue is not as worse like other countries in the world. I can still lively peacefully with my multiracial friends and I’m happy about it.

Wey, there’s lot more you know, not only racism issue. I haven’t touch today’s youngers issue, citizen’s attitude, corrupted political stuffs, fucked up cultures, ignorant bastards, ‘i wish i was a non-Malaysian’ stuffs and other stuffs.

You wanna try to save today’s younger’s problem? Go ahead, most probably they will say “I dun wanna get involved” or “FUCK OFF!!!”.

Sheesh.

Happy Independence Day, Malaysia.

p/s: Proud to be Malaysian…
