Your Luck On Bus

Life is random. If you’re riding a bus alone, do you even care who’s going to sit next to you. Some people they just don’t care. No, there’s nothing wrong with that.

For me, I do care and I do wonder who’s going to sit next to me. Of course, being a young single untaken guy, I always prefer a young single untaken girl sitting next to me.

I went to KL yesterday. Just one of my normal regular visits to KL. But something interested happened on my way back to Melaka.

Bus for Melaka, arrived. I queued up. In front, I saw this one cute girl, which looks like a student. Hmm. Wouldn’t it be nice if i sit next to the girl. Heh. Ascended the bus and it looks like the bus is kinda empty. Look for my seat and ZOMGWTF!

My seat is right next to this girl. Whoa whoa, is lady luck trying to play a prank on me? Wow, get to sit next to a cute girl.

Oh, some of my friends know that I suck at one thing my mom told me to do: “never talk to strangers”. Whenever I ride bus with my even mumber of friends, I always end up with some random person sitting next to me ( uh, they’re “even” which mean they can sit in pairs, i can’t ). The usual excuse for them to push me to some random people is “alaa… ko kan peramah?” ( translation: “c’mon, aren’t you the most kewlest friendliest guy ever existed on Earth’s history?” ). Right. Watever. If they wan friendliest person, It’s Eza. Right Eza? You even lepak with some of the MMU security guys right?

Back to the bus. Yes, i’m sitting next to the cute girl sitting. Here’s wat happened chronologically:

- I took the seat inside close to the window. Most gurls will chose to sit the outside seat coz they feel insecure sitting inside.
- Peeked..
- She put the bag on her lap
- Saw her calculator
- She took out exam paper.
- Me pretend to look outside. Whoa, there’s reflection on the window, nice…
- She SMSing with someone. Curious. NO. I DUN READ PEOPLE’s messages ( except Aaron… ). She’s writing in chinese by da way. What? I “ter”nampak only. What? Why am I looking at her? Err.. well.. I just.. feel like looking at her. That’s all.
- Starts conversation

Edo: Are you a Malaccan?
Cute Girl: Um, no. I’m going to visit my father. He’s in Ayer Keroh. ( OMG, she look so when she smiled… )
Edo: Oh, i see.
Cute Girl: He’s in Pantai Hospital right now. Hospitalized there.( Oh. I didn’t ask her anything ).
Edo: Ah, i see.

moment of silence for a while.

Edo: Are you a student?
Cute Girl: Err.. no, I’m working now.
Edo: …
- Grabs my bag, hug it and sleep.

I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! LADY LUCK IS PLAYING A PRANK ON ME. I BET SHE’S ROFLing NOW! Too bad she’s a working girl. Sigh, it’s hard to guess their age when they’re between 19 – 24. They all look nearly the same. Actually, I didn’t straight away sleep after that, although that’s what I feel like really doing.

Edo: Are you a student?
Cute: Err.. no, I’m working now.
Edo: …
Edo: I..see…
Cute Girl: I’m from Pahang but I’m working in KL.
Edo: You’re working as…
Cute Girl: ( i forgot, what she worked as. Something got to do with Finance and audit stuff ).
Edo: Ah i see. That’s explains why you have a calculator with you now. Heh.

BLA BLA BLA BLA. I talk a lot sometimes. I’m not going to write down everything what I talked.

All I know now is, I sat next to a cute girl, she’s not as young as I thought and my luck sucks. And some of her background info too which is interesting at some parts.

PS: I’M NOT DESPERATE! DAMMIT! Halt such rumours…
