Ok, maybe I was too sensitive. I’ll try to write this as interesting as possible, although my mood is totally spoiled. I’ll post pics and briefly explain what’s going on. Lazy to write anymore…
Ok, that’s the silly picture again. Warning, this post is not dial up ( and streamyx ) friendly.
Ok. EMiNA BBQ Trip, or it’s originally called Ice Breaking trip. Since we already know each other quite well, so the “ice-breakingness” is not there anymore. Unlike previous year, we don’t use the bus. Yep, we use cars – friendlier and definitely cheaper. Since we only have 20 participants, it’s a waste of money to rent a bus.
The event place is the same like last year at Pantai Kundur. Those are the participants. We reached there somewhere around 3.30pm and the weather is really hot.
If previous year we have some games planned and all, this year, things are quite different. No plans. Just do watever you like. There’s no point having planned games if everything going to be messy anyway. So, yeah, no plans. Just cincai anything. Since we are at the beach, there’s lotsa things we can do.
Kay Lyn is marinating the chicken wings with “special mix”. We “booked” marinated chicken wings from Tesco a day before the event but Tesco betrayed us by selling all the chickens on that day.
Ok, marination done. Time to do.. anything. BBQ starts at 6pm. So, they started with…
Throwing the director into the sea. They are SO anxious to throw someone into the sea. I wonder who started this craze. They wanted to throw me, but since I’m “experienced”, I always pack myself with electronic stuffs. >:)

… and they phailed miserably. The director more like “thrown to the ground” then rolled into the sea instead of “thrown into the sea”. Ok, throwing people seems boring now. Let’s find something else to play. After this, I’m too lazy to write stuff. If can, I just wanna put pictures only.
Ok. She’s hold a “whacking stick” now. They were playing some whacking game that look fun… and painful at the same time. Too lazy to talk about the game. Lasted for quite long.
Let’s play with sand now, coz it’s always fun to play with sand.
More members playing with sand. That skittle is not ours, we found it at the beach and it’s really useful to scoop water to wet the dry sands.
These people are trying to dig a hole as deep a possible – digging Edo’s grave. Yep, they’re planning to bury me alive… but phailed coz they can’t dig deep enough.
She concentrated on her sculpture for quite long. I did remember asking her to build CLC building out of sand, dunno whether she’s taking it seriously or not.
Hmm.. Kay Lyn’s playing with sand now.
Now, she’s playing with sand ball now. Ok, time to give someone to hold my camera for awhile now.

Ameow replaced his hand with some rotten branch. He thinks he’s a evil villain now.

She’s still playing this sand. By this sand everyone else got bored with playing with sand already. Ok, time to lit up the charcoal.
We had a hard time trying to “burn” the charcoal because of strong wind. And, we are quite inexperience oso. Took nearly one hour to set it up.
First she played with the chicken, then she played with the sand. Now she’s playing with fire.

Ok, I cannot tahan already. Time to save the day. Lemme fan that. The fire went wild after that. Yesh, I’m proud of my skillz.
Finally the cooking starts. There’s chicken wings, frankfurters and fish balls. Later corns and sweet potatoes.
Clean sweepers. While others are already full, they’re still there finishing the left overs. After the food finish, we’re off. That’s is somewhere around 9. Later they went to somewhere else that I didn’t follow because I was too tired.

Throw people into the sea ? That would probably start from GACC BBQ. :P Anyway, throw people into the sea should be THE LAST part, not at the early stage. Also, one of the reason why you see the throw people into the sea not working is…just look at the pictures. Only about 4 people doing it, whereas the rest is just looking. I remember last years one where we got about 10 – 15 people will lift and throw just one person. So yeah, this year I guess this years members are rather shy ? Just my opinion. Yeah, one more thing, I really think you guys should have not gone to early, kinda spoils the mood.
Sad to see that you got no fire-camp like last year. Also, in my opinion, you should have played some games that are planned. If they’re 20 people, than its more easier to control+play imo. I think the cincai-thingie is a bad idea. :P Oh well, from the look of the pictures, it seems it kinda work.
Well, I’m glad you had fun during the BBQ.
P/S:Wow…Kay Lyn is pretty aggressive, with the sand ball and whacking stick. O.o
Edo: Actually no one wanted to throw him into the sea at first because we wanted to save it for the last. But, you know, some are “itched” to do it. While throwing oso, counting error oso. Shy? Lol, this year i can say that everybody went all out.
Another reason bout the fire-camp is.. let’s try to be legal. Making random bon fires is illegal in Malaysia without approval from Bomba. Yep, we went illegal last year lol. Oso, no one pick up kayu api. The atmosphere doesn’t allow us to play planned games, because it will be.. kinda boring. Dunno why, just the “atmosphere”.
PS: Yes, Kay Lyn ganas. Can’t you see in the pic? She played with carcass in a pot.
Kay Lyn looks pretty “gaya” in all her pics. She really got potential to be “Ah Cheh” of a kongsi gelap or smth lol.
BTW, did Yuki Nagato really build a CLC building out of sand? She seemed so focused :P.

Whoever was in charge of throwing people into the see failed badly. If someone is packed full with electronics, just “deelectronicise” him. It’s not that hard, we did it last year. While you’re carrying the squirming target to the shoreline, helpers should be busy searching pockets and pulling out anything that might get spoiled in the water.
Last year we forgot edo glasses LOL. So it got washed away in the sea.
And not having games is just an excuse for lame planning.
