I’m Feeling Generous

I’m scared. There’s this one time last week when I accessed my HDD, ALL MY MUSIC ARE GONE!!! It’s missing, along with all my artworks.

But after I restart my PC again, thank God it’s still there. Phew. I wonder what happened.

I realized it’s time to backup my important treasures. My artworks can be easily stored in a few DVDs since it’s only 12GBs. But how the hell am I going to backup 49.7 Gigs ( and counting ) of ~~illegally obtained~~ musics? Some of them are “rare” ones.

No, no Blu-ray drives. Not within this 2 years time. And sorry, I’m part of the anti HD-DVD movement ( yeah! down with HD-DVD, yo! ). And I have no more space in my casing to put more HDD due to my ridiculously huge GPU.

So, the best way to backup my stuff is to be “generous”.

So do come to EMiNA’s next screening so you guys can help me “store” my music in your hard drive. Can also take a look what I have in my drive, and tell me what you want so I can burn it for you ( you provide me teh DVD ).

Note: I’m bringing my external HDD only, not the whole PC. So, please pray someone bring a laptop as usual.

PS: I wonder how Victor backup his “large” size collection of songs…

And I know the pain of losing all your music. I just lost about 35 gigs of mp3′s last week.

I found a place to store your music forever with unlimited storage. The only thing is, they don’t have FTP yet so you have to use their Java add-on to upload. It’s a fairly painless process, but be prepared for timeouts if you’re like me (Upload 768 mb in one go).

By the way, do you have Hellsing Ultimate Episode 3 (The latest Hellsing)? There’s actually no more people seeding on bittorrent! T__T
