Currently listening to “Futari” from “Moji Pittan”

I know.. I know… I’m supposed to write my “delayed stories”, but i just have to post. I MUST POST THIS.

Cloverfield

CLOVERFIELD IS ZOMGly GOOD. If you have the same taste with Edo, then it’s highly recommended to watch this movie. Too bad, I can’t reveal anything about it here because… it’s just not cool to watch the movie if you know what it’s about >:D

So yeah. Go watch it.

PS: You “might” need paper bag. I don’t need one. But you “might” need one.
  • Wanna watch for sec time ?

  • Damn, can only watch it when go back. No cinema here….

  • I just watched it. Most of my colleagues left the place before the movie finished because they felt sick. I kinda panicked when they told me that but when I watched it with my siblings and Ai Ling and her brother, we were all fine :|

  • Only the chosen ones can watch it. Anyway, jom tgk second time? :>

  • Its out already ?? Hmmm…when i’m going to watch this…

  • Dammit. Wanted to watch, but my asthma attacks came in and screwed it up for me. *sigh*

  • To train before watching this movie, just play Quake 3 or Counterstrike. Or ride a rollercoaster on front seat.

  • Bloody hell. Definitely an experience worth experiencing in the cinema. The acting is meh, but goddammit I was sucked into the nightmare. It was pretty damn intense at parts, beginning with the subway tunnel scene (“Turn on the night-vision!”), and I still can’t stop thinking about the movie.

I don’t know. It definitely has its flaws, but man… what a movie! The whole in-your-face hand-held camera shooting was pretty incredible, and this is my first time watching something like this (I never watched Blair Witch, and I don’t think I’ll bother). It felt like a documentary rather than a film, and Matt Reeves went above and beyond to make sure it FEELS like a video recording found while the US Military were excavating around what used to be Central Park.

I wonder if we’ll ever get to see what the other guy was recording.

P.S: Oh, check this link out. It’s IMDB’s FAQ about Cloverfield. Has some pretty interesting facts about the production. It even answers the question about the video recording: How does the camera’s battery last for seven hours or more? My respect for the whole production team just went through the roof after reading it.
