O hai, Ed

I have a bad habit of talking to myself, most of the time when I’m alone and at times.. I do talk to myself in front of people. Got this since primary school and I can’t stop it.

Yeah, people find it extremely awkward when at time I go ” What was it again?…. oh thanks!”. It happens.. subconsciously.

Well, not going to talk about it more. I’m more interested in telling one of my “spontaneous situation simulation” that happened in my head.. which I find it quite bizarre.

The story

I was working at The Coffee Bean at that time, and my manager told me to bank in the money that we collected at a bank one floor up. Well, never done that before and I asked how. My manager told me

“First, say Hi. Then, say I would like to bank in this money”. Oh lol, that simple. Ok, off I go.

On the way there, I was trying to imagine how the process would look like… and it ended up like this in my head:

Me: Hi, how are you.
Accountant: Oh, I’m good. How are you?
Me: I’m fine, thank you.
Accountant: How fine?
Me: Very fine, lol.
Accountant: Define “very fine”.
Me: Uh.. excuse me?
Accountant: Define “very fine”. You know, how fine is your “very fine”
Me: O_O. Uh.. more than normal fine?
Accountant: I see, how normal is normal for you?
Me: Uh, like normal normal?
Accountant: You’re not very confident with your “fineness”. Are you ok?
Me: Yes, I’m ok. Really.
Accountant: How ok?
Me: Again, very fine? >_>;;
Accountant: I still don’t know how fine is your very fine.
Me: I’m… fine… =_=;;
Accountant: You don’t look fine…
Me: I’m FINE! Iwanttobankinthismoneyplzthankyou.

Oh.. I passed the bank. I got carried away with the stupid conversation in my head.

When I returned to the Coffee Bean, I told my manager “yeah, the accountant was fine”.

Now, you guys have any interesting head conversation that you wanna share? I’m pretty sure a lot of people have this weird imaginations too.
