I Love Facebook
You know, I LOVE FACEBOOK.
Before this I was very skeptical about this “social networking websites”. I believe that it’s no different than Friendster ( which i hate now ), and MySpace ( which i hate it since it existed ). Until Thye Shin bugged me to join ( even using evil tactics to drag me into it by showing my girl back then was in his “friends list” ). So yeah, I joined and I instantly got hooked up to it. I was very impressed with it’s neatness, simpleness, semanticness and …uh “niceness”.
It’s awesome to get update from my friend who I rarely meet.
I Hate Quizzes
I have no idea when this silly craze started : my friends are “addicted” to answering silly quizzes on facebook. Fine, answer all the quizzes if you want to but FOR FUCKS SAKE DON’T FUCKING PUBLISH IT TO THE FUCKING NEWS FUCKING FEED.
Daily I receive results from various retarded quizzes that I don’t fucking care. Like this one:
It’s dumb. Not funny, but DUMB. Especially when it appeared in my fucking news feed when I don’t fucking care.
It so retarded that it spawned into unreadable nonsense like this:
Just.. WHAT THE FUCK? I mean, LOOK AT IT! WHAT THE FUCK?
No offense to Chinese readers, but seriously why the fuck are you doing this to my precious social networking website? It really felt like AH BENGS has invaded my society, Same goes to the stupid ridiculous Malay quizzes with stupid stupid stupid stupid queries. NOT FUNNY. NOT FUNNY AT ALL.
I don’t fucking care how PURE MMUian you are. I don’t fucking care what Power Rangers you are. I don’t fucking care what “How I Met Your Mother” character you are. I don’t fucking care how you fuck your girlfriend ( >_> okay, maybe, in a small private chat somewhere ~ ). AND I DON’T FUCKING CARE HOW FREQUENT YOU FAP IN AN HOUR.
There’s even a quiz about “What kind of SHIT are you” with disturbing puke inducing images of SHIT. This completely redefined the how “shitty” you are.
Another silly thing about it is all these “Quizzes” are separate applications. There’s no option to BLOCK all these quizzes at once. So, I had to manually block em all one by one. Currently I’ve blocked 200+ quizzes. Yep, that’s 200+ applications. Where’s my smart filter to BLOCK anything with the word “QUIZ” in it?!
If you find the quizzes are funny, fine go ahead, fucking answer it and please, fucking keep it to your fucking profile. Don’t fucking publish it and make my fucking miserable life even more fucking miserable. Do you fucking understand? Fuck.
I don’t find browsing Facebook entertaining anymore. I felt like tearing my fucking guts out to know how DUMB my friends can be. It’s sad… and FUCKING ANNOYING at the same time.
Some of my friends KNEW that it was stupid ( as stated in their result, they know it’s DUMB ), but they STILL answer it anyway.
I know that this post might not do much to decrease the amount of the quiz craze. Maybe I should start blackmailing my friends that I’m going to “erase connections”. Oh, do spread the word, at least it will “decrease” the amount of quiz spam in our circle.
So my friends. Stop being DUMB, and start being smart.. NOW.

If you ask me, I prefer the previous news feed thingy. It displays the more important ones rather than all these craps.

Well, it’s not really their fault. These people have been addicted to quizzes and they want SOME of their friends to see it. Unfortunately, there’s no way to do this except publishing it for everyone. If there’s anyone to blame it’s facebook. The previous version made it much easier to only get what you really want. I’d recommend signing one of those petitions if you really feel like fighting for the cause.
edo: nay, I won’t blame facebook much since it’s the app’s problem itself. If it’s coded properly, It would be able to choose who they can publish to. User’s who can’t use Facebook responsibly is like a “disease”.

No idea how many quizzes I’ve blocked. And I have no idea whether they’re published to the news feed or not. The last quiz I took was just plain dumb and idiotic. -_-” And there was no option, I saw, to post anywhere else but the profile, but since I clicked on the link from news feed, I’m sure it exists.
I just hope I didn’t spam you with that.
edo: Originally there was a few only, which I don’t really mind. But now, it’s like QuizBook. One user answered 10 quiz straight and… bye bye important updates. It’s ridiculous.
