Meeting Old Timers

Me and Khurshid felt nostalgic for no reason and we decided to use the weekend to get away from Melaka and see the good old timers who’s no longer in Melaka. So we visited Cyber and KL. While I met these old timers quite often previously when I used to go to Cyber a lot, Khurshid rarely get to meet these people. Oh, Yuhi tagged along.

Sadly, I got lazy and didn’t manage to take any good pictures. Khurshid and Yuhi did snap a few but I didn’t even snap a single pic. Sigh.

Pekomikon ’09

Nothing much to say. It’s a small event by Pekomik during the KL International Bookfair @ PWTC. Kiraneko, Victor, Tokiya and me had to give a talk about Comic Fiesta. That’s all.

I’m more interested to talk about the KL International Bookfair. It’s PACKED with people, and books that are not worthy to waste my time ( or maybe I didn’t fully explore that place ). The section I had to go through to get to the Pekomik event is full of religious books ( with evidence telling me that Japanese Manga art is DEFINITELY penetrating the WRONG market ) and kiddie education books. And full of people who don’t look like they read books too. The event is scarily packed with people, more packed than PC Fair when it was held there previously. Scary.
