It’s official…
… my car is a Yandere.

I had a awesome birthday. It was so AWESOME that I don’t even have a good photo of me during the birthday celebration. Explains why there’s a picture of my bored cat up there instead of a picture of me smiling like I just won a lottery. Strangely, nearly everything that was shot with my DSC-TX1 camera was taken in video mode. And I still haven’t got any other photos from others.
Thanks for the birthday wishes on my Facebook ( you guys spammed 80+ of it on profile page >_> ). Thanks for the SMSes that I receive in the middle of the night while i was dead on the bed. And of course, thanks to the random squadron of freshies rallied by Yeo to sing me “Happy Birthday” on the phone.
Special mention of Kamil for calling me twice to confirm EMiNA Cyber’s AGM date, and wishing me Happy Birthday ( with 5 hours gap in between the call ). Lol.

I like to look forward into the future to predict on what’s going to happen to me next, while trying to ensure that it will actually happen. In short, I was trying to control and shape my future.
Most people told me the main source of my failure was the idea of “trying to control my future”. Maybe true, since I was so focused on the future that I lack focus on my present. I pulled myself away from the future back to present now, to ensure the damage is fixed. At least, my freedom is now restored.
Right now, while my life is saturated with failures, undeniably I went through a very fascinating life. I met a lot of friends, I went through a lot of amazing moments and depressing moments. At least I won’t bore my grand kids about my life’s story.
Like my goddess Maaya Sakamoto said “Life is like a canvas and the paint is hope and promise”. Fuck yeah.
Happy Birthday Edo. You’re 24 now!

I just don’t know why, I’m bored the most during semester break. It’s like having my friends “around” me effect my performance in anything. Really. Even my cat at home is bored.
I have piles of undone work according to the to-do list on the whiteboard, but my fingers refuse to work. And finally when I forced myself to work, it seems like the computer is not “cooperating” with me well, especially when I’m dealing with Flash-based works. If everything goes well, the internet might not. There’s always something NOT right – Like the file CORRUPTS in the process of saving, followed with the moment where the monitor felt like it zoomed away from me with a horror background music in the background ( immediate response would be screaming out loud “FUCK NO” while trying to tear my scalp away from my skull ).
That would lead to this:
/frustration over work not going well.
“Oh well, I’ll work after watching an episode of this Korean drama”
/watches IRIS episode 1
“Fuck, it’s quite good. I’ll work after another episode.”
/watches 5 more episode
“…… shit, my clients are going to kill me.”
Sigh. I blame the Koreans.
Maybe I should take my car out for a drive to somewhere random. Oh wait, I can’t do that. /stares at to-do lists. /head desks. /goes back to work.
I.FEEL.LAME
O hai thar.
How’s life? Mine has been running fine. Extremely fine. Life has been really nice to me lately. It’s quite easy going. No evil exams… just… killer shitload of works piling up. Yes, this is what I’ve been telling you all these while : Work sucks, enjoy your university life like your life depends on it. Well, I love my work, kinda, just hate the clients. Especially if they’re clients from hell, when they ask me to do stuff that I can’t do ( like asking this flash animator to do some code-saturated flash website ).
Happy to say that after years of being “pushed down” by my financial problems, I’m happy to say that I’m financially independent now. Seriously, IT FEELS REALLY REALLY good. That’s really something for me. It’s seeing an “Achievement Locked” box popping up down there. The one who should happy the most would be my mom, seeing that I’m no longer leeching money out of her now.
Oh, Comic Fiesta 2009 was a huge success and I’m really proud of it. It’s feels to good to know a lot of the visitors really enjoyed it and we have a lot of visitors from outside Malaysia this time.
This blog is missing a lot of things. I’ll update it. Seems like it’s a tradition that I left this blog alone during MMU 2nd trimester.
Ahh, what other better way to appreciate the work of the GACC committees after all the hard work they contributed to the awesome event than saying “thanks”? Treat them to an awesome dinner, of course.
One day, Navin sent me a chat message through Gtalk that says “I wanna go buy PS3″. I immediately replied “NOW?”.
He said, “yes”.
So, the story was his sister found a good deal for PS3 in Melaka ( thanks to Low Yat forum ) and since her brother is in Melaka, she asked him to get it for her. Of course, this was a day after the new PS3 slim was launched worldwide. Excited, I provided transportation without hesitation… so that I can molest it.
Yes. It’s his sister’s PS3. Not his. And, definitely not mine. >_>
The actual PS3 slim doesn’t look as cheap as it appears in pictures. It while it does look “expensive”, it’s not as “classy” as the original PS3 design.
Sigh. I’m wondering when can I get myself one.
Right after my brother’s convocation ends, there’s another occasion that I had to attend: Kiraneko’s wedding.
Kiraneko is the current President of Comic Fiesta, and yes, she’s my boss XD. How can I not attend the wedding? I had a hard time trying to get to the wedding. The problem was, I went to Cyberjaya with my parents ( using my mom’s car ), while my brother is already at Cyberjaya earlier ( using his car ). So, I had no transport to go to the wedding which was at Equatorial Hotel in KL. Due to the complication, I nearly gave up trying to attend the wedding :(
But luckily, Fazri who’s going to the attend the wedding too was willing to pick me up all the way in Cyberjaya. Yay, thanks Fazri! My mom agreed to pick me up after the occasion ends while she lepak at her sister’s place in Klang.
Obviously, I made the right choice by attending the wedding.
A week after DaiCon, there was a Comic Fiesta committee meeting that I was supposed to attend. I did and to save cost, instead of the usual drive up to KL, I took bus instead. I kinda missed the riding the bus actually.
But due to certain transportation complications and temptations, I went back to Melaka on Wednesday instead of Monday.
Fazri invited me to his “Photography Assignment Trip” to Sungai Gabai ( while it was officially dubbed as “Film and Photography Society Ice Breaking Trip” ). Yes, I got suckered into his plan and since Usagi was with me, she got dragged along too. Oh well, time to add beautiful waterfall pictures into my portfolio… and some other interesting photos into my personal album, heh heh heh. ( The picture above is one of many ~ )
More delicious pictures after the jump.
Bon Odori 2009 : The mid-year Japanese festival @ Panasonic Sports Centre, 18 July 2009. This would be my 7th visit to the Bon Odori, and it’s pretty much the same and no one is expecting it to be different because it’s.. GOOD. As usual, I joined the EMiNA Melaka’s trip.
