I came back from at 3am yesterday. I had a job interview in KL, and I was dead tired from all the driving. I reached home, my cat was waiting for me. Looking at my innocently, and followed me all the way to the kitchen. She’s hungry, obviously. There was no one at home, my mom and bro went out of town.

Yes, I had the house for myself; I could bring girls back home even if I want to and have sex in the kitchen. Rite.

So, I went to sleep after that ( of course, after checking my emails and random online chat ).

Then I had this intense Korean drama running in my head while I was sleeping. I was SO INTENSE that I refuse to wake up. I have no class on that day anyway, so I continued to sleep. Sleep is good, and I’ve been lacking of sleep lately. So, sleep. The Korean drama in my head was good.

I woke up somewhere around 4pm. Lol, that was too long. Oh come on, the Korean drama in my head was too good.

AND THAT’S THE REASON I MISSED THE WHOLE SHITSTORM REGARDING THE IMAGE UP THERE. DAMN!

Apparently someone in LowYat forum took a picture from my blog about me holding “someone else’s” PS3 in “someone else’s” house, and call me a sohai. ./facepalm. The admin removed the thread before I could even see it. I had to crawl on random online caches to read it. It was dumb and… dumb. Lol. Oh, I missed the fun, I wish i was there. I was literally laughing out loud at how dumb the thread was. Too bad it didn’t get as good as my attempt to rickroll the whole ACG community to make them actually believe that we are having the next GACC in Kompleks Pasar Payang @ Terengganu ( you won’t believe the amount of people who actually believed in it. Heh ).

THAT. I BLAME THE KOREANS!

If they didn’t put up a good show in my head, I would have woke up earlier AND see the thread for myself. Damn, you Koreans! Damn.

PS: This Korean drama I’m talking about is “IRIS”. It’s so awesome that it haunts you to your bed, and it’s not even a ghost story.

1. Email forwarding to Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail and other popular free
email provider

1.1. We will no longer permit email forwarding from your hosted email
account to any of the free email service providers (e.g.
tm.net.my,streamyx.com, yahoo.com, gmail.com, hotmail.com, aol.com,
rocketmail.com and so on) or any online groups (e.g. Google groups and
Yahoo groups) in our shared hosting mail server.

1.2. This is due to free email service provider has applied more
strict anti-spam policy in their mail server. Due to this issue, if
they detected many of our customers set their email account to forward
a copy of the email to the free email service providers. If the
account have a lot of email being send to the account, all the email
will be forwarded to his or her free email account and instead of
Yahoo detect it as an email, it detect the forwarding as attack on the
free email account. Due to that issue, the service provider will
block us from sending email to their email account.

1.3. Unfortunately, even though we are not responsible for this spam,
these service providers noted have repeatedly been blacklisting our
mail servers, causing legitimate email to be blocked.

1.4. In order provide a smooth email transaction between our mail
server and those email service providers, we decided to disallowed
customer from forward their email to the email service provider.

Gah! So, I can’t make my hosting forward my mails to my gmail anymore. Fine.

Thank GOD Google is awesome. Instead of asking my hosting to forward my mails, I just ask Google to “fetch” my mails.

You can check your POP settings, in your Cpanel > Email Accounts > Configure Mail Client. You find something like this:

After you set it up, make sure you turn off your hosting forwarding settings, then test it out. It should work.

He’s cosplaying as Hayao Miyazaki. Speechless. I dunno whether this is stupid or cool, but it is funny to see one, lol. I’ve seen girls cosplaying as HYDE of L’arc~en~ciel but the cool factor is there. Maybe Hayao Miyazaki have the “legendary” factor. Heh.

Do you have a powerful computer at home? ( even if you don’t have one, no offense, keep on reading ). Ever wondered any other GOOD stuff your machine can do other than playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion at flawless 60 fps framerate for maximum setting ( even my PC can’t do that…)?

Ever heard of Folding@Home program? Yeah, if you heard of it, it’s THAT protein folding thing. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s NOT THAT lipat baju work that you do at home.

If you haven’t heard of it, no worries. I can try to summarize everything in one sentence: “Doing mankind a favor by just paying extra electricity bill”.

Protein Folding

“ Folding@home (also known as FAH) is a distributed computing project designed to perform computationally intensive simulations of protein folding and other molecular dynamics simulations. It was launched on October 1, 2000, and is currently managed by the Pande Group, within Stanford University’s Chemistry department, under the supervision of Professor Vijay S. Pande. Folding@home is one of the largest distributed computing projects. ”

Yep, everyone can join this ( yes, even you who’s using a Pentium III pc there ). It’s not a hassle at all. All you need to do is: Download, Install, Start. That’s all.

Basically, this is what the program will do: First, it will fetch it’s data first ( not that big ), then use your CPU to simulate protein folding ( takes hours per job usually ), then when it’s done it will submit it’s result to the database. That’s the cycle. Yes, your PC works like a part of a BIG supercomputer ( actually, IT IS something like that, but it’s called “supercluster” ).

The program will use a lot of your system resources, but usually participants only run the program when they’re not using the PC. Don’t worry, it wont affect your BT download. If you still wanna fold while using your PC, it’s your call. It won’t effect much if you’re doing light tasks like chatting, surfing, listening to music and writing with Microsoft Word. If you’re doing heavy duty tasks with Photoshop, rendering videos or playing ‘Elder Scroll’s IV: Oblivion’ with an expectation of playing it at a flawless 60fps WHILE folding in the background, forget it.
