Edo is still alive
Finally, blogging again. It’s not like there’s nothing to blog about. In fact, there’s just TOO many things to blog about. Is just that.. “I’m lazy” at time and lost the “blogging spirit”. Yeah, the blogging spirit comes and goes.
Actually, I didn’t stop blogging for a very long time. It’s just that.. I didn’t blog HERE. I started an anime blog “Ocha!” and revamped EMiNA’s website. Yes, I focus went there. My poor blog. It gets it’s owner attention again, now.
What I’m doing now nowadays other than rotting at home facing my computer screens?
My PC is alive now, costing RM1K ++ to fix it ( replaced mobo and fried RAM ). Freelance work pouring in a lot, hence less nap times.
Club Matters
Edo, Hunting for New Members
Still busy with EMiNA, although I was planning not to be very busy with the club. Well, EMiNA is getting better in terms of activities ( although the number of good committed committees are decreasing ). I’m kinda worried about the number of committees. Oh ya, I took the job of becoming the Director of the coming GACC2009.
EMiNA this pushed it’s online presence by revamping it’s website and forum, plus with the new image gallery. The image gallery is full of EMiNA old photos… nostalgic photos. Damn how I missed 2004. A lot of work? No it’s not. Everything can be done in one night. It’s not that hard like “some guy” in Comic Fiesta claims. Tch.
Oh oh! We won an award in MMU Awards too! Yes, we won ‘Best Exposition Award’ for GACC2008. Impressive that we beat other major clubs. Didn’t put much hope in it though. Going to push for more awards this year.
SPB? No, I didn’t return to the club like most expected, in fact I’ve completely abandoned the club. The club is not doing well I say. They’ve butchered nexus & the forum, and the fate of Sigma yearbook is cloudy. You can visit nexus and judge it yourself. I missed the old SPB, really.
Academic Matter
The probability for me to be killed by my brain blowing up in class shoots up exponentially. Entered my 5th year in diploma, and education life continued to suck. I’m left with 2 subjects only which is ‘Maths 1′ and ‘Maths 2′. I hate Maths. Very.
Plus the fact that i’m “feeling lonely” in class doesn’t help much. A lot of Ah Beng and Ah Lians, Malay dudes that look like Mat Rempits, girls that would send random forwarded msgs saying that the sky would have 2 moons on some random day, and much more. Bottom line is, I’m lonely. Socializing attempts phailed miserably.
Thankfully, I finally got one chinese dude in class who’s quite close to me in class. Unfortunately, he hates maths too.
How’s my maths so far? Uh.. bad. Terrifyingly bad. Add with the fact that my lecturer is extremely horrible at teaching, the percentage of me “failing” my diploma is really high. She really suck at teaching. Latest test result shows that only 2 out of 42 passed proved it. Of course, I’m not one of the miraculous 2.
I suck in Maths. Some people say that I’m lazy to study maths. Honestly, yes. I’m lazy to study maths. Or to be precise, I’m running away from Maths because I’m scared of Maths. I had no choice. I must face this.. this.. BAD maths.
So far, I’m not doing so good and trying my best to face it. And I’m running out of time. AND my attendance rate is bad too.
Weird attempts
Scarily, I’m getting more sane than before. Dammit, ’staying at home with mom’ lifestyle is not good for me. Noes.
Edo in 2004. Weird and Ridiculous.
Edo in 2008. Near sane but still retarded
Having normal life sucks. I wanna do something crazy. I wanna do something that’s fun. But no, God invented maths to slow me down. T_T
Edo, with random people, in a random chinese restaurant
I did end up in a trip full of people I don’t know and they all communicates in Chinese. I knew it’s coming but… I just end up joining em. There was an alternative though : SPB organized a trip to Langkawi on the same day ( fully sponsored by SPB ). I choose to go out with these random bunch of dudes. These random bunch of dudes are the committee of Techtime 2009, an event that I randomly joined as a committee. Well, being in a bunch of random people was quite fun though.
Oh yes! My car’s driveshaft is fixed! but the air-cond is still dead. I’m financially broke but few people owes me RM3000+ now. Planning to get a PS3 but.. maybe it’s BAD idea since my academic status is not doing well. Erm? I rather get that PS3 than fixing my car’s air-cond.
Sigh. I feel lame. I feel like stealing borrowing my brother’s bicycle and cycle up to KL for fun. Darn, I might do that seeing that I’m completely free on second sem.
PS: Hmm… something’s missing. Hmm..
